About Marcel Kuijsten
Marcel Kuijsten is an author and the Founder and Executive Director of the Julian Jaynes Society. Since 1997, he has been building and growing the Julian Jaynes Society, a nonprofit dedicated to promoting the life and work of Julian Jaynes, a psychohistorian who wrote The Origin of Consciousness in 1976. Jaynes' theory discusses many ancient cultures and explains many mythological stories, mainly the Iliad. Kuijsten has published many books on the subject matter, spoken at conferences, and provided interviews about Jaynes' work. His work contributes to ancient studies because it provides an invaluable service to psychological analyses of ancient studies.
