About
The Skaldic Project is digital database focused on medieval Norse-Icelandic skaldic poetry. It contains almost 700 fully digitized manuscripts. The website has publishing goals for what may be print volumes as well. It was started in 1997 and is hosted on a website belonging to the University of Aberdeen; however, it is an international project that has funding from various government institutions and sources around the world. As of 2020, the website lists Tarrin Wills as the main contact for the project.
